Travel rules

Dear guests
We hope you and your families and loved ones are well during these challenging times. With international travel restarting there is a host of rules that have come with it. In an effort to ease some of the confusion we have compiled a list of the requirements.

For your entry to Greece

• You have to fill in a PLF form
and meet at least ONE of the following requirements
• You have completed your vaccination (i.e., 14 days have elapsed since the last vaccination, depending on the doses required) and hold a vaccination certificate.
• You have recovered from COVID in the past 9 months. This can be proved through a certificate of recovery issued by a public authority ( NHS) or a certified laboratory.
• You have a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19 test taken no later than 72 hours before arrival OR a negative antigen (lateral flow) certificate from a testing laboratory, for a COVID-19 test taken no longer than 48 hours before arrival. This test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over the age of 12).

For your return to the UK

• You have to fill in a PLF form found here: https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk
• You will need to take a COVID-19 antigen (lateral flow) test in the 3 days before you travel. You will need to find a private test provider to take this test ( We can help with this, contact us for more info ). When boarding your plane, you will need to provide proof that you have taken the test, and that the result of the test was negative. Children aged under 11 do not need to take a test. More info on this here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-testing-for-people-travelling-to-england There are links for info on Scotland and Wales here as well
• You will have to take a PCR test on or before day 2 after arrival. More info on this here: https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider There are links for info on Scotland and Wales here as well.

If your destination is on the amber list AND you haven’t completed your vaccination or you aren’t under the age of 18, the following requirements apply additionally to the above
• If you’ve been in an amber list country in the 10 days before you arrive you must quarantine at home or in the place you’re staying for 10 days (the day you arrive counts as day 0)
• take a COVID-19 test on or after day 8 of your 10 day isolation
More info on these here: https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider
Again there are links here with info on Scotland and Wales as well
